It’s About the Rose
Karen Marie Garrett

www.kgpiano.com

Timeless beauty describes the rose and also Karen Garrett's latest masterpiece, It’s About the Rose. You can almost smell the fragrance and feel the velvet petals falling as the piano plays.

The emotional depth of her compositions is enriched by classical influences such as Beethoven and Pachabel. Track 2, “Tally’s Lullaby,” is an exquisite piano-cello duet with Eugene Friesen and is a tribute to pets that have passed on. Track 9, “Tip Toe Dancer and the Sea Pearl,” is a stunning piece with violin and bass. It was inspired by a child at the beach dancing in delight at an ocean’s treasure found in a tide pool.

The rose is a gift of nature. It’s All About the Rose is a gift from the heart and hands of Karen Garrett, and we are blessed.
