PanorythmicaQuite simply, Panorhythmica by Chasm is happy, uptempo music that will have you swaying in your seat. It would probably fall under the category of world pop with a healthy helping of jazz. The songs are filled with complex rhythms and catchy melodies that hide exotic little surprises throughout the album. You never know where this music is going to take you until you get there.

Panorhythmica is Mark Esakoff on classical guitar and other stringed instruments with Michael Whipple on flute, percussion, keyboards and stick (which is an incredibly complex and difficult stringed instrument that few musicians ever master). Individually, they are both world-class musicians, and together these guys are tight. If you're having a "drag day" and need a "pick me up," Panorythmica is just what the doctor ordered. You can get your very own copy of this CD from Sticks and Stones Music, PO Box 7671, Ventura, CA, 93006.
