June/July 2008—Honoring the Earth (deadline April 18) Writer's GuidelinesInnerchange at Rosemaryhill Farm LLC does not guarantee that we will publish any article we receive. However, we give all submitted articles serious consideration. Some are held for consideration for future issues, others are selected for publishing on our Web site only, others are selected for the print magazine and Web site, and still others are not selected. Content and CopyrightProviding a high level of journalism to our readership is one of our goals. Therefore, we request that you submit articles that are educational, informative, thought-provoking, and, when appropriate, factual. You will be asked to validate that you are the owner of the work that you submit and that you have the authority to grant Innerchange at Rosemaryhill Farm LLC the right to publish it in Innerchange magazine. We cannot accept articles that have been published in a similar publication in our trade area in the previous six months. We also will ask that you not grant others the right to publish the same article in our trade area for six months following the publication date of your article in Innerchange Magazine. Other than these limitations, you retain the entire copyright of your submitted article and are free to publish or otherwise distribute it as you see fit. Unless otherwise agreed upon between Innerchange at Rosemaryhill Farm LLC and the author, Innerchange will own and retain the copyright of columns that are regularly featured in the magazine and on the Web site LengthFor articles that relate directly to the feature topic (see editorial calendar), articles can be between 500-1800 words, with a 30-40 word author bio at the end of the article. For articles not related to the feature topic but are related to Innerchange's general focus, maximum length is 900 words, including a 30-40 word bio at the end of the article. FormatSubmit articles for consideration as both an attachment to an email message and as text in the body of the email and send it to kluciano@innerchangemag.com. Acceptable file formats include Microsoft Word files and text files. Any accompanying logos, line art, charts, graphs, or photos must be submitted as high resolution (at least 250 dpi) and large enough to print. Acceptable file formats for art and graphics are EPS, JPG, TIF or PDF. Artwork copied from other Web sites generally will not be of a high enough resolution for printing. EditingThe publisher and editors of Innerchange reserve the right to edit any published article for brevity, clarity, and length, whether it is used in the magazine or on our Web site. RemunerationInnerchange at Rosemaryhill Farm LLC does not pay for articles that it publishes in the print magazine or on the Web site.
