Why You Should Put This Movie in Your Collection
An IRS agent travels to a remote farm in New Mexico to collect on back taxes. After being dropped off and knocking on the front door, he walks around looking for someone on the property. He rounds a corner to find Joan Allen gardening nude and watches her until he is stung by a bee. Turns out he is allergic and falls into a delirious state. With a beginning like that, what is not to love!
Each character in the story is transitioning and they all intersect to help each other through the change process. The writing and acting are of the highest quality and the story unveils the power of human kindness, determination, and strangeness. The New Mexico backdrop provides the perfect setting to contain the story and is beautifully shot throughout the movie.
