Why You Should Put This Music in Your Collection

Every musical artist or group usually has one album that somehow resonates with their optimal talent and expression at the time of release. Andreas Vollenweider has a number of albums, but White Winds is by far the most complete and the most beautiful. What defines the optimal album for me (as a listener and reviewer) is variation and quality of each song. Many albums have one to a few great tracks and the rest can be mediocre or weak and the album still worth buying. But a great recommendation for music is an album in which all tracks are great and the balance of the album is great as a result.

This album in particular captured twilight and expressed that time of day, that transition for day to night, in the progression of each song. Truly the perfect music to listen to at the end of the day and the beginning of night.
