Peaceful warrior is about the journey to awareness. This story involves a gifted athlete who suffers a career ending accident and must decide to relearn his goals and understanding through the loss of his extraordinary gift. Much of the movie teaches how to shift perspective and what can be learned from acquiring the skill of shifting perspective.

Themes of imbalance/balance, taking for granted/appreciating, loss/recovery, and hubris/humbleness move throughout the narrative with appropriate focus (not too overt or too subtle). There are also some wonderful moments of humor, especially and surprisingly a robbery scene.
