10 Advertisers from 1996 - Where Are They Now?

It goes without saying that Innerchange made it through ten years because of all of the wonderful advertising support. In fact, all of our revenue is generated through advertising sales so that we can provide Innerchange for free to our readers. In 1996, we had 26 display ads, 10 classifieds, and 25 calendar listings. Going into 2006, all forms of Innerchange advertising have more than quadrupled in number.

When Innerchange came up with the idea to focus on the number "10" in our tenth anniversary issue, we decided to select ten advertisers from the first few issues of Innerchange who were still advertising with us now - ten years later. It was fascinating and somewhat surprising to discover that we had EXACTLY 10 advertisers who are still involved with Innerchange in one way or another, and we searched through the entire first year to find them (10 issues total)! I am happy to share their stories here with you.

1. Dancing Moon
1840 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh
919-833-8081, dancingmoononline.com

Staff: Cherry Lea, Bev Bockover, George Ward, Cherie Lassiter, Sharri Gaines,
and Jane Wilson

In 1996, in a quaint, old house near downtown Raleigh, lived an independent specialty bookstore called Dancing Moon. The door was welcoming, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the floors squeaked as you moved from room to room exploring new possibilities for inner growth. At that time, Dancing Moon specialized in new age music, metaphysical and alternative healing books, crystals, and jewelry. Various readers were regularly scheduled to offer psychic, astrology, and tarot sessions. Dancing Moon occasionally sponsored trips to U.S. national parks, and many friends and customers joined them for these extraordinarily mystical trips.

Many things have changed in ten years for Dancing Moon, yet many things have stayed the same. The door is still welcoming, but it's at a new location. The staff is still friendly and knowledgeable, but some of the faces have changed. Readers are still regularly scheduled to be in the store, but now there is a Living Well Center with over five different practitioners offering their healing services.

With the help of over 50 wonderful friends of the store, Dancing Moon moved to their newest location this past March. Within three days, an entire store was packed, moved, unpacked, and opened! Not only is there more space to sell books, music, crystals, and jewelry, Dancing Moon now has a large classroom for a variety of events - even a catered wedding reception with a band. The new store also has a tea room and the new Living Well Center.

Dancing Moon, easily one of the three largest metaphysical bookstores in the southeast, has become a hub for community activity. Monthly study groups have started meeting there in the evening, a meet and greet (hosted by Dancing Moon and Martin and Barbara Brossman) is held every quarter, and more fun and interesting events will be added in 2006!

Dancing Moon has received many thoughtful comments and encouraging words through the years - "thank you," "grateful you are here," "there's nothing like you in the state," and "you have been there for me" to name a few. The loving support of its customers have helped Dancing Moon to survive and thrive through some interesting challenges during the past decade.

In addition, the growing relationship and deep friendship between Innerchange and Dancing Moon has made a huge difference in how Dancing Moon gets ideas, information, and events to its customers - both new and everlasting! To say we are grateful is not enough. We can truly say this has been a wonderful, growing experience, and Innerchange and the Moon are on the same page about the future - to continue to bring information, service, products, and events to the community with hearts that are filled with appreciation for the opportunity to do so.

2. Maryphyllis Horn
The Center of the Living Light
soulshaman@aol.com, 919-542-0260
www.soulshaman.com

What were you doing in 1996?

Mostly private work: Soul Retrievals, teaching how to contact Spirit Guides, Past-Life Regressions, spiritual hypnotherapy, and a few workshops in shamanism. All of this, here in Pittsboro as well as Raleigh, Greensboro and Winston-Salem. In the latter two cities I was hosted by the Center of Life Enrichment (no longer there since the owner's retirement), where I would give a talk on Soul Retrieval on a Friday night and then commence with private sessions the rest of the weekend. In the Triangle Region I did a lot of "freebie" talks to various groups on the subject of soul retrieval. I was the first shamanic person in the Triangle/Triad Region who was "out there in the public eye" at the time, so little was known about shamanism. I needed to do a lot of educating about this wonderful work.

How have you and/or your business changed since 1996?

Everything I offer is time-honored in its effectiveness of helping people. I've received a lot of different trainings; more of these were from my spirit guides than from other humans. If Spirit suggests a form of work, I really pay attention because that information comes from highest Spirit through my Spirit Guides to me. It is highest Spirit that brings things to us, and that message/gift comes in right timing.

The specific methods and insights my shamanic Spirit Teachers (spirit guides) have focused on and given me are:

(1) Spirit's soul integration methods that follow the insights it has given me about the nature of the soul and its needs once returned to the body.

(2) Soul healing during the soul retrieval itself, that sometimes includes clearing (healing) past-lives and ancestral lines, always according to what Spirit says the soul part and the person need at the time.

(3) Ancestral Lines Clearing to remove genetic obstructions to our soul's path and destiny.

What are you doing now that is different from 1996?

In some ways it seems like I'm going back primarily to the 1996 work: soul retrieval, contacting spirit guides, past-life healing. But that's not a retro thing. Instead, it's a higher rung on the spiral that incorporates everything I've learned; whatever the client needs at a given moment is what I bring into the session. It's a much deeper, fuller sense of the work; healing is gentler and occurs in a much shorter time.

Spirit is also having me focus on depossession of suffering beings (discarnate spirits) from a shamanic approach.

I'm also doing a lot of shamanic Soul Readings now.

How has Innerchange affected your journey - personally/professionally?

More people have come to me as the result of my ads in Innerchange than from any other publication. This has been true consistently throughout the 10 years I've advertised everywhere. The Triangle region holds a huge population of metaphysically-oriented people. There's no way one person can get to know everyone in the area, like you can in a small town. Innerchange is a networking mechanism. Maria Tadd and Karen Newton reached out at a time when a previous magazine suddenly went defunct, leaving a huge void. Over the past 10 years, I've felt a personal, community support from Innerchange .a feeling that their top priority is to support and link all of us in the field, whether we're advertisers or readers, providers or seekers.

Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

Pretty much wherever Spirit intends me to be. In my entire adult life that's the way it has always been, and Spirit hasn't gone wrong. I'm not one for left-brain future planning; that feels too "fabricated" and unreal. I prefer to flow according to what Spirit indicates at the moment, each moment, for whatever service is needed.

These past 11 years have been a journey of faith.following Spirit both in my personal growth and in service to others. Spirit has been there every millisecond of the way. Personally, it has been a journey of reclaiming myself and of expressing my true self in ever-increasing oneness with Spirit. Personally and professionally, it has been a journey of ever-increasing joy and freedom. The next 10 years can only get better.

I love this work and its freedom within Spirit. By nature, I see the light of Spirit in everyone; this is what I did in public school teaching as well, so it's not a new trait. I love working with people who are "on the path" of spirit, and those who are seeking their path whether they realize it or not.

I love the openness and free-flow sharing that itself allows Spirit in to energize the work of healing. Each of us is part of the Creator; the sorrows and woes we experience are like barnacles on the ship of life that keep us from expressing who we truly are. Some of the soul-healing methods I offer help release those "barnacles" that stand in the way of being one's true self. (True self = the unique soul in each of us that was given to us by our Creator and is naturally part of our Creator.) The other methods I use reclaim and integrate lost soul parts so that the true self can emerge and express life fully with joy.

I love being with clients, aiding them as they work to achieve new understandings, healing and break-throughs, I love seeing people become more open to Spirit in their lives, and shine more and more in the radiance of their true selves.

Innerchange Glows into Infinity

In 1996, I was just starting to gain some confidence in my healing abilities. When Innerchange first came out, I was so excited to see how other healers were growing their talents - and to find so many kindred spirits.

For several years, I was the copy editor for Innerchange, and I got to see all the articles before they were published. It was one of my lifetime favorites to spend a Saturday morning editing Innerchange articles and being transported by so many intriguing ideas. I'm still delighted to read every new issue of Innerchange and see what wonderful opportunities that issue offers for spiritual growth.

For most of the last ten years, Innerchange has been the only place where I've advertised my healing practice - and it's been all I've needed. Quite often, I've had people call up for an appointment and say they've been attracted to my ad in Innerchange for several issues and finally felt it was time to meet me. I'm so grateful to Innerchange for facilitating so many Divinely timed appointments!

I've also appreciated the opportunity to share some of my own beliefs and experiences in Innerchange. I've written articles on meditation, working with angels, creating healthy beliefs, when to use energy healing, and several others. Sharing prayers in the continuing Inspired Words column gives me a lot of joy. Thank you all for reading!

This year and next, I do not have a public healing practice, and I have given up my copy-editing work for Innerchange. My husband and I chose to take an assignment in New Brunswick, Canada, with the computer company where we have both worked since 2001. I've just started to find people in the local healing community, and it's all word of mouth. Saint John, NB, does not have a magazine like Innerchange, for which I am now even more grateful.

For ten years now, I have been spiritually nourished by Karen Newton and all the precious people who have shared their journeys in Innerchange. I've met some great friends and teachers through Innerchange that I probably would not have met otherwise. In fact, I think all of us in the Innerchange distribution area have been enriched in ways we may not be able to count until we have the full vision of our souls. I feel certain that what I've read in Innerchange has shaped my beliefs, expanded my love of humanity and our beautiful planet, and lit up paths I really needed to take.

I am deeply grateful for everyone who has contributed to and supported Innerchange over the years. And I'm especially grateful for Karen Newton's dedication to this magazine. By having the vision and courage to publish Innerchange, often at great personal expense, she has given us a luminous gift that continues to bless us all into our Infinite selves.

Happy Birthday Innerchange!!

Innerchange magazine was born out of the demise of a magazine called Connexions for which I wrote a regular column on the movement of the planets called Skywatch. At the time this was a radical concept, since the only astrology columns published were "Sun Sign" articles, making predictions for each Sun Sign. The "Sun Sign" columns do not reflect the complex mystery of astrology, and I was glad to have the opportunity to explore in print the way the motions of the planets affect our lives.

When the publisher of Connexions decided to move on it left a gap in the holistic community, and I was pleased to meet Karen Newton who had begun the process of initiating a new magazine called Innerchange. It takes enormous drive and focus to begin a venture like Innerchange magazine, and even more drive and focus to maintain such a magazine for 10 years! Innerchange serves so many functions: it is a web weaving the work of holistic practitioners together and aiding in networking and learning. It is an advertising medium for practitioners to spread our message. It is a springboard for new ideas and concepts and a way for us to learn about each other and teach others, and I was excited to be a part of a new beginning.

Over the past ten years my astrology practice has evolved and taken on new dimensions. As a psychology major, I was fascinated with the psychological signatures that appear in the birthchart and when I began my practice in 1983 I focused on helping people to learn more about themselves and why their personalities manifested in certain ways. Instead of predicting the future or the fate of my clients, I emphasized their strengths and weaknesses in explaining their character traits.

The addition of Jungian concepts in the late 1980s added a new dimension to my astrological practice. Now the birthchart became a process - more than a simple psychological evaluation, the archetypes of the birthchart become powerful signatures that add a new dynamic to astrological consultations. The powerful Uranus/Neptune conjunction of 1993 opened up new dimensions to many holistic fields with an awakening (Uranus) of the collective consciousness (Neptune). The fact that both planets were in Capricorn, the sign of established patterns and social structures shows that society was evolving into a new way of looking at reality (Capricorn). The Uranus/Neptune conjunction opened a gateway into an expanded awareness that is still unfolding across the globe. Many more people have become interested in higher levels of consciousness since that period, and the work of holistic practitioners has evolved and expanded (Neptune) into new realms (Uranus). Innerchange is essential as a means for those with experiences beyond the ordinary to connect and share their services and teachings with others on the same path.

Over the past ten years my own practice has evolved and changed to become a more dynamic process and go beyond a process of simply explaining personality traits to taking an active role in healing and helping to create effective life changes. This process helps to expand the client's awareness of the realms beyond their ordinary reality, helping to facilitate their process of realization and transformation. With this new level of awareness it is no longer enough just to understand why we behave in certain ways, but we now seek to transform those patterns and challenges into totems of power.

In 1999, I gave my practice a name, Astrodynamics, to reflect the "dynamic astrological" process. I'm proud to be a continuing supporter of Innerchange, and grateful for the support that Innerchange provides!

5. A.R.E. Study Group

Developed through the psychic ability of the late Edgar Cayce, the two volumes entitled A Search for God provide road signs on the spiritual path. They point to one of the ways one can learn to find and use universal laws, which have their basis in the Law of Love and Oneness of All Force. No claim is made that these books are the only way to Truth, nor is there any attempt to use them in competition with any religion based on belief in One God.

The material in A Search for God, Books I and II, is not an intellectual exercise which one can absorb and apply to oneself. Designed to be used in the group setting, it needs the interplay of group reactions and disciplines. It flourishes best when there are divergent viewpoints that stimulate the exploration of the many facets of a spiritual concept.

Historical Context

In a self-induced trance, the late Edgar Cayce could commune with the subconscious mind of another person anywhere in the world, determine precisely the physical ailment and prescribe the necessary procedures to restore health to the whole person. With no conscious awareness of his statements, and with no medical training, diagnoses and prescriptions of astonishing accuracy flowed through him, were recorded verbatim by stenographers, and transcribed. Thousands of these readings are available for study at A.R.E. Headquarters at Virginia Beach, and through the internet (for members).

In 1931 Cayce began a series of readings with a study group, to assist them with the practical application of spiritual laws. Almost eleven years later, the outcome was two small books called A Search for God, the contents of which had been tested in their daily lives, and then written up and edited by Cayce in the trance state. The two A Search for God books reflect the practical guidelines for group effort which were distilled from 130 readings. More than 800 groups in this and other countries attest to the practical value of the material.

Ideals and Purposes of A.R.E. Study Group Work

Study Groups bring together individuals who, by using the material, may attain a better understanding of spiritual laws. Within each group, members have an opportunity not only to study and discuss, but also to test and to make practical the precepts found in the records. Working together, individuals create an actual "field of mental and spiritual energy" which accelerates their individual growth. Any study group thus becomes a laboratory for spiritual research - the results of which become effective in the home, in the church, or in the office.

Not only the individuals in a local group, but all affiliated groups in the A.R.E. Study Group Program, subscribe to these ideals and purposes:

1. To assist each individual to meditate and pray in an intelligent and practical manner - not only alone, but in groups.

2. To show by practical application how each one may know their relationship to God and to their fellow humans.

3. To furnish a safe way for soul growth.

4. To help each member to live a balanced life.

5. To inform each member about the broad areas of information that may be found in the readings given through Edgar Cayce - information that will help to awaken the individual to a more spiritual and more useful life.

The Study Group Program has a spiritual purpose. Group study is designed to stimulate inner motivation, to awaken individual psychic perception and, above all, to encourage self-discipline. Work with a group gradually brings to an individual recognition of his personal responsibility, wherever he/she is. One begins to require of oneself (rather than of others) understanding and obedience under the law.

The A.R.E. group program stands apart from today's trend toward instant spirituality by various short cuts. It should be made quite clear that the A.R.E. study group is not an encounter, sensitivity, or therapy group. It does not advocate the use of drugs or mechanical or chemical devices to achieve crash breakthroughs to the unconscious mind. Instead, the work rests on these basic assumptions:

· That we are here at this time because our eternal souls have need of certain experiences in the earth plane.

· That these experiences are not "problems" but "opportunities" for the particular development our souls need.

· That God is eager to work with us in facing our opportunities.

· That we need group support.

6. Triangle Rose Pronaos
Rosicrucian Order

Congratulations to Innerchange on its 10th Anniversary!

Since its inception, this magazine has been an effective resource in letting the works of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC known in this region. The Triangle Rose Pronaos, a body affiliated with the Order, has been offering to the seekers of light a place where Rosicrucian principles that have aided humanity throughout the centuries can be known, discussed or revived.

Since the dawn of humanity and with the development of self-consciousness, men and women have been constantly struggling with deep ontological questions such as: Who am I? How did it all start? Do I have any input in the wide scheme of things?

The Rosicrucian Order endeavors to provide workable answers to these questions. It is a worldwide organization dedicated to the elevation of humanity while instilling in the individual a philosophy of life that brings about serenity and peace of mind. It is a non-sectarian fraternal body men and women devoted to the investigation, study, and practical application of natural and spiritual laws. The purpose of the organization is to enable all to live in harmony with the creative, constructive Cosmic forces for the attainment of health, happiness and peace. It comprises a series of graded studies aiming at safely guiding the student in the acquisition of those inner skills necessary to reach self-mastery. Being a Rosicrucian is, in fact, a way of life in that one becomes the knowledge itself; and self-mastery translates in being more tolerant, more modest, more sincere, fair, loving and altruistic. A Rosicrucian is curious and actively seeking to incorporate the lofty ideals and practices of Art, Science and Mysticism in order to obtain greater balance, both on the individual and global spheres of existence.

For more information on Triangle Rose Pronaos' activities please call (919) 347-0492. You may also direct further inquiries for literature and direction on how to join, at the following web sites: http://rosicrucian.org or http://amorc.org

7. Arlene and Larry Green
U.S. Kinesiology Institute
www.uskinesiology.com

Kinesiology has been a part of my life for almost thirty years. Like many people, I was first introduced to it by a chiropractor thanks to a challenging health issue. It impressed me that in one session the doctor was able to eliminate a problem that had been a mystery to other doctors by using kinesiology. What intrigued me even more was discovering just three weeks later that his assessment and nutritional treatment, which I thought to be a bit extreme, was confirmed by independent blood work. That experience led me to integrate Touch for Health Kinesiology (TFH) as a part of a master's program in Holistic Health back in 1981. I saw amazing changes in others and myself in that first TFH class that defied the medical model. Being a young mom, I was ecstatic to discover a holistic health system that empowered me to be able to help not only myself but also my daughter and others. TFH combines principles of the acupuncture system with gentle touch techniques and muscle testing in a simple step by step process. I became a TFH instructor in 1981 and began teaching, what still is today, my passion. Its most gratifying to be able to teach people simple yet powerful skills that can make profound changes in their health and well-being.

When I moved to North Carolina in 1986, I spent three years working at the NC School of Science and Math in Durham. There I had abundant opportunities to share these skills with the students who were most open and eager to learn. Many of them found the skills helped reduce their stress and improved their learning abilities. Many appreciated the natural pain relief techniques after soreness from sporting events. While coaching volleyball, the players noticed a dramatic improvement in their skill level after integrating these techniques.

In 1990 I met my partner and husband to be, Larry Green. Larry and I grew up within 5 miles of each other in Cleveland, but didn't meet until we both moved here. Larry had been part of the award-winning cancer retreat program Commonweal in California, featured on Bill Moyers' Healing the Mind. Larry has been a TFH instructor since 1995, has served as the President of the National TFH Association and help found and serve on the board of Cornucopia House Cancer Support Center in Chapel Hill. Larry teaches classes in TFH locally and in massage schools, and sees clients. His advanced training in Professional Kinesiology (PKP) enables him to address a wide range of physical, emotional, and spiritual issues with clients. He has great success with pets as well.

Since 1994, I've written a book, The Top Ten Pain Releasers, become the American senior Faculty for teaching both instructors TFH and the Practitioner training (PKP) in the U.S., and regularly present at the International Energy Psychology conferences, TFH and other body/mind conferences.

This past July, we put on a new hat, so to speak, as organizers for the National TFH Kinesiology conference. It turned out to be one of the largest ever held in the U.S. attracting people from 18 countries. We brought together for the first time Dr. Goodheart (founder of Applied Kinesiology), Dr. Thie (founder of TFH), Dr. Dewe (founder of PKP), Dr. Dennison (founder of EduK), Dr. Wally Schmitt, and many other notables in the field of kinesiology. We arranged to have Dr. Goodheart (age 86) receive the 'Key to the City of Durham ', and honor him with a Lifetime Achievement Award. It was an historic conference, with all who attended feeling a remarkable sense of gratitude for such a positive coming together of so many of the pioneers in this field. (Enjoy some great photos from the conference on our website.) It was a wonderful gift to have given Dr. John Thie, one last opportunity to see how his TFH system has grown, as on August 3, he passed away. He was a great man, with a big heart, who lived his vision of empowering people to help one another and touched the lives of thousands of people around the world.

Larry and I will continue to carry forward Dr. Thie's vision, with enthusiasm and integrity, to teach people simple skills to improve their health and well being, and to make this world a better place. We appreciate the service that Innerchange has afforded us through the years, both as a magazine and in sponsoring the Expos that help educate the public concerning alternatives that are available in this area. We invite you to learn further about kinesiology though our website or by taking an introductory class in this remarkable healing system so that you too can have practical self help skills at your fingertips for the rest of your life.

8. Unity in Greensboro
1935 Opal Drive, Greensboro, NC 27404
336-273-0944
www.unityingreensboro.org
revcatherine@unityingreensboro.org

Unity in Greensboro has been around for over 14 years. It started in a small store front on Spring Garden Street, then moved to a rented church owned by PTI airport. When the airport reclaimed the land on which that church was sitting, the group moved again - this time to another airport-owned rented facility. A year ago, when the church received notice that they had to move out due to yet another airport expansion, the congregation decided that enough was enough! The group had grown to a steady attendance of 100+; it was time to build or buy a permanent church home. But which would it be??

The church owned land near the airport on Lewiston Road and, for the last two years, had dreamed about building on that site. The time had come for action. After much prayer and numerous conversations with bankers, builders and city planners, the Board had plenty of data to do a thoughtful cost/benefit analysis on the "build" option. Meanwhile, a beautiful little church close to downtown Greensboro became available for purchase. The price was right. The facility was suitable for the church's needs. And buying an existing church was certainly less disruptive to our active church life than building a new church.

Now the church stood at a crossroad. Would it be a suburban church or an urban church? We turned to our Vision Statement for clarity:

Unity in Greensboro is an inclusive spiritual community
dedicated to learning and practicing the Truth principles
taught by Jesus and all great spiritual masters.

We are committed to personal, community
and global transformation.

Through affirmative prayer and inspired action,
we help to heal and enlighten the world.

Unity in Greensboro is a community of loving individuals dedicated to diversity and living spiritual principles. We are about more than just ourselves - we are here to make a difference. We are strong, prosperous and loving - we have a lot to give. And so we decided to become a city church - to become part of an established neighborhood.

The first service in our beautiful church home was Sunday, November 20, 2005. The Sunday before Thanksgiving! And what a celebration of praise and gratitude it was!

Innerchange readers have always been active members of Unity in Greensboro. We invite you all to visit us in our new church home and experience the excitement, joy and warmth of our community. We are located just two minutes from I-40.

For more information and detailed directions to the church, please visit our website. And we welcome your questions about Unity. Feel free to contact the minister, Rev. Catherine Padgett, by phone or by e-mail.

Thank you Innerchange and Innerchange readers for all you have done to support our church community over the years! We love you. We bless you. We appreciate you!

Spirited SolutionsT for Your Challenges!

What are you most passionate about in life? Besides the aroma of fresh coffee brewing, what makes you bound out of bed in the morning?

I've asked myself these questions repeatedly, particularly in the early 1990s when I was struggling to put myself through graduate school. Between a full load of classes and the three jobs I was working to pay my way, it was an immensely stressful time.

That was until I found Reiki, a profound method of natural stress and pain relief that relaxes and revitalizes those who practice it. I was exposed to Reiki after a harrowing car accident in 1992, and it immediately began to improve my life!

After training for two years, I started teaching Reiki in 1994. When Karen founded Innerchange in 1996, I was delighted to have a venue to let people know about my classes and the free, open healing group that I host - still to this day - on a regular basis. Innerchange provides a vital resource for those of us who want to learn and grow, and it has been my pleasure to write articles for and appear in Innerchange these last ten years!

Since 1996, my business has changed immeasurably. I had to let go of much of my Reiki teaching during 1996-1999 when I was teaching at Wake Forest University and UNC. Then in September of 2000, I felt the call to make healing work the center of my life. I started Spirited SolutionsT, a business dedicated to helping people like you achieve optimal success and well-being in their lives!

To expand and enhance the services Spirited SolutionsT offers, I trained in Thought Field TherapyT, kinesiology, dowsing, Healing Touch, and other healing methods, and was ordained as an Interfaith Minister. I buttressed these trainings with numerous business courses in the area, and these have proven essential to the success of Spirited SolutionsT.

Now, not only do I provide Reiki individual sessions, group classes, and intuitive counseling, but I also offer business seminars and coaching based on my real experiences as a teacher, trainer, professional speaker, and entrepreneur. These dynamic programs have been very popular in business development centers and organizations across the state and focus on networking, customer service, avoiding business burnout, creative marketing, leadership, and other fascinating topics.

One of the most exciting recent developments in the business has been that I started doing motivational speaking for conferences, churches, associations, non-profits, and businesses! It has been a pleasure to earn membership in the National Speakers Association and to educate, inspire, and motivate so many more folks than I can work with in my private practice.

It's been wonderful to realize that my work with groups informs my work with individuals and vice versa. Working one-on-one with clients is exciting and rewarding, and makes me cognizant of the issues that I need to address with groups.

Do I love what I do? Absolutely! Nowadays, most people are looking for meaningful work, healthy relationships, and expression of their authentic selves! My gift lies in helping folks figure out what their passions are, how to pursue them, and how to balance their lives to have time, energy, and resources for what matters most to them.

Who are my clients? People who feel stuck and want to get their lives moving in a positive direction! People who want to be excited about their lives and feel energized on a totally new level! Courageous individuals who know that now is the time to make their dreams become reality!

Since you're reading Innerchange, obviously you are already on a quest for personal and professional growth. Yet I wonder, are you making the most of your precious life? Are you genuinely happy and fulfilled on the deepest levels? Do you desire to know why you're here and ACHIEVE what you're meant to accomplish?

What groups are you a member of - church groups, civic groups, volunteer organizations, non-profits, and business associations - and how would they benefit from a powerful motivational presentation? To find out which of our seventeen seminars and keynotes would most inspire and benefit your group, visit our professional services page at www.spiritedsolutions.com/services_professional.html

You're also invited to subscribe to Spirited SolutionsT' free email newsletter and check out our exciting offerings at www.spirited-solutions.com. And if you're seriously looking for a counselor or coach, I'll be pleased to offer you a free 30-minute getting-to-know-you session.

Don't you and the groups you're part of need Spirited SolutionsT for your challenges? You've seen us for ten years in Innerchange. Why not see us in person and let us help you create a life and work you love!

10 Unity Church of the Triangle
524 E. Whitaker Mill Rd.
Raleigh, NC 27608

In 1996, Unity Church of the Triangle met on the second floor of a small office building on Wake Forest Road. Within a few years, they moved to a beautiful church building right around the corner on Whitaker Mill Road. And now they are growing again, and hope to have a new, larger home soon.
